The fate of a woman, she'd had a hard life before she married to Taiwan, and she'd had to, work really hard to make her own living, to provide for her children, and sent money back home for the families she'd left behind, to build their houses, and she is appreciative of the opportunities of life she'd been, given…translated…
At first, I really, don't, like her one bit, early in the morn, she'd begun screaming and shouting, and it was, truly, ANNOYING!
As the sun just showed its head out of the clouds, when the skies are only, beginning to glow of the light of the sun, her calls shot through the early mornings. She is the owner of the butcher stand on the diagonal side of the park, taking advantage of the location, the small stand always had a ton of, business, the early risers who'd gone exercising at the parks, are all her, long-time, customers (despite how she has an awful temper), those who were on their ways home from their early morning shopping rounds, and no need to go out of their ways back into the marketplaces to find the meats.

Tall, dark, extremely, loud, with the means of a business person, not allowed the shoppers to turn the pieces of meats, only look, no touch, making the selections, and she'd packed up the meats for the shoppers; no slicing services—do slice the meats up as you needed in your own cooking; she's unafraid of offending the customers—the stand's quite small, the places too packed, do leave immediately after you'd made your, purchases, and if you wanted to buy more, she'd told you, "Do buy everything at once, I don't have the American free time to offer you my services", she's too, self-righteous too—stuffing the sausages for the customers, and she'd added in the flavors she thought would fit for the clients, and as the customers complained, she'd gloated, "I'd added some sugar in the sausages for you, which sausages don't taste, sweet?", and all of these, personal experiences, left that bad impression for me toward, her.
And even so, because of the convenience, I'd still often shopped at her stand. And after a bit, I'd observed her in every possible interactions, that was when I'd, turned my attitude toward this aging woman from Heilongjiang Province totally, upside down. Heard her communicating with the clients, "sir, didn't you just buy two strips of bacons? You are living alone, finish what you bought yesterday, then, come back to purchase, more!", "Aunty, your daughter-in-law came by to purchase the meats yesterday, didn't you see her?" "Ma'am, this is the sausage I didn't sell from a couple of days, I'd refrigerated them, do take it home a fry them.", still loud, but this time, her voice no longer, sounded, sharp, in her brashness, there's that hint of, gentleness.
One day we'd started talking, I'd learned that she'd married over to Taiwan from China for thirty years, and I'd asked why she'd married so far away, she'd told me, "back where I came from, the female owners were deemed to be living off easy! I'd heard that my husband owned a business, so I'd, married in a hurry, little did I know, that being a female owner of a business meant I had to work my hands to the, bones, had to get up at 2:30 in the middle of the nights, and start chopping up the meats I'm to sell the following morn." Leaving home, thirty years, such a long, long time, did she ever, regret it? She was optimistic about things, that although life hadn't been easy, but, she'd managed to build a house for her own family, and, busying about every day, it'd kept her away from the worries of not having enough food, while after she gave birth to her children, she'd felt, that she'd, rooted down in Taiwan, and her days started, tasting, sweeter now.
Like those words she'd often said, "if you can choose to be happy, then, why don't you?" Her philosophy of life, simple but, very, wise, truly, impressive!
A woman who'd been tried by fate, leaving her own home country for love, and for a better life for herself, but instead, she'd found herself at the bottom of the food chain, but she still felt more than blessed, that she could work, and support herself, her families, and help out her families back home, this is a woman who will have all the blessing in her life in the later years, because she knew to appreciate everything she'd been given, she's hard working, and carried that positive attitude, outlook toward her life, no matter how hard times got.
