Time and time, again, and again, what ALL these, politicians proved is, that they're, ALL words and NO actions, and, I know that we the people are, losing TRUST in the local AND, central governments, no matter what political party is in charge…off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
As the news of the private school director's son's suspected sexual assault on the young children burned on for days, the mayor of Taipei, Chiang for the very first time, appeared before the press, and apologized, as the parent-figure of the city of Taipei, his responsibilities are to protect the children from being hurt, that any one child who'd been hurt under his term is his, responsibilities to shoulder, "as the mayor of Taipei, I offer my deepest, sincerest, apologies to the parents whose children had been assaulted."
the press release, off of YouTube, the parents, claiming that there's no response from the city government of Taipei...video off of YouTube
Yesterday, Chiang appeared at the "hand-off power of the new head of subprecinct'' of the Taipei City Police Department, he'd originally not scheduled for an interview, but toward the press's inquiries about the sex assault cases in the preschool, he'd bowed to apologize.
Chiang also told, that the recent incidents in the preschools, whether it be in the past or present, there's improvement needed in the legislation or in the policies, that he will evaluate and make the improvements for, to keep similar incidents from recurring, causing the unsettlement of the children and their, parents.
Those who knew of the incidents stated, that although Chiang knew that the incidents had begun during Ke's term as mayor, but, at the city meeting yesterday, he'd believed that the government is, extensional, that as the mayor, he'd needed to apologize for the errors the city government had made in the past, to not stoop to the levels of the DDP, getting into that spit contest of politics, that the immediate task at hand is to help the parents feel more secure, sending their children into the schools, although within his office, there's the "fight until the end" voices, but Chiang still, chose to, apologize.
And so, this sounded like the newly elected mayor, manning UP for what his predecessor failed to do, protect the children from sexual abuse on the early childhood education level, and, maybe, that made him appeared like he was more responsible, who knows, but this SHIT keeps on happening, and it didn't matter WHO runs the government, and that, is what the city government need to trace to the roots of, to see WHAT causes this "trend"…
