How it's still, NOT the way to RUN a FUCKING (so???) country (oh, this SHITHOLE stopped being a "country", since the COUP d'état from FOUR FUCKING total YEARS ago, when Tsai came into office!!!), and this still just showed, how the political favoritism can screw a country full of people, completely and totally, as we keep on, living under the REIGN of TERROR of the DDP here! Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
It'd passed the one-hundred day marker since the newly elected president, Lai came into office, and people suspected that there are, no important legislative proposals, but only, the fight with the parties out of power; but, listing out all the unfitting named officials, there's that long and winding, list, the most recent, Chen and Yao, Lai is now, told to have selected people who complied with his requests, he has a tough leadership style, he'd not tone that down, instead, he'd become worse and worse.
all who raised their hands in support of me gets a position in my newly formed government...illustration from online
As early as Lai posted the new cabinet member rosters, we could all get a whiff at how the Lai government had employed the favoritism, the cliques, and those in his cabinet, are either from the New Wave Subparty or those who were long-term friends and connections with Lai, Lin and Cheng who can't "trust Lai" enough, even as they were high on the totem poles of the political party, both had only received "second important" positions in Lai's cabinet.
Lai only selected those of his own within his cabinet of advisors, even within the party, he'd wanted to rule the world, and yet, there were, three members of the Central Committee, which are all of Lai's subparty. Other than proving, that it's a misdirection that Lai exited out of the New Wave, it'd shown, that whether it be on policy consulting, power of office, Lai trusted only those who are of his own.
The policy advisor is another example of how Lai played favoritism. Kang, was Lai's long-term support and local good friend, he was involved in a trial, and this sort of a person, Lai had discarded the reputations, he'd hired him as a legislative policy advisor. It's natural, that the president have friends from the locale, but, abusing the systems of government, giving the individuals the uneven, undeserved rights, that's, questionable.
And now, with the TPP faced with the trials and tribulations, there's the changes of the parties out of power banding together, without the power to balance, Lai's naming the heads of departments is bound to become more authoritarian. Chen, who'd been named head of transportation, had only been elected into the city council, Yao, who's more famous in politics, named as the assistant director of the judiciary, if there's to be something that's "exemplary" of them, is that they both, campaigned hard for Lai, with the "trust factor of Lai instilled", naturally, they got the care and attention of the president elect.
In the nominations of the Grand Justices, there were the powers within the DDP who'd tried to have Hsieh and Su on the benches, but, it doesn't look good, both men being, elderly, with the fact, that they're like the hired guns for the DDP, at the time, their nominations were treated as a joke; without knowing, that the justices that Lai named to the benches, are the truly hired by the party. When we the people see, that the political party became completely confused between jokes and reality, nobody will be, laughing then.
So, this is Lai's style in selecting his cabinet members, this is all about favoritism, and this means is absolutely WRONG, and you should be finding someone fitting for the individual departments of the government, to run these divisions, but you don't, instead, you stick people who are, faithful to you, whom you believe will follow your every order, not stab you on the back, or betray your trust into the positions, and this country has NO future to speak of, because of Lai's "private selections"…
