The early childhood educators, wrongfully accused of ABUSING the young children, because the city councilpersons wanted their, three nanoseconds of, fame, to try and BUST these, cases of "abuse", but it wasn't abuse, it was, an early intervention physical activity, and after everything had become cleared, that there WAS, NO abuse, these politicians still won't admit that they'd, misjudged the, situation, and we're still, allowing them, to REPRESENT us! The Wrong Reports from the City Councilpersons, Destroying the Reputations of the Educators
Once, the preschool was the place where the children received their first tastes of the world, and the preschool teachers were the ones who teaching the toddlers about how to live, the children were three, or four in the past. And now, the age of children "leaving home" got pushed to when they're, only two months of, age, and the realms of socialization became the nurseries. But, the very first person who will introduce the children to the world, who is to, accompany the children on this, very first passage in their lives, became, the very first untrustworthy, "outsider."
The children are too young, lacking the awareness to take care of themselves, to protect themselves, there's no one else who's, closer to these younger children than the nursery school educators, who can help the children more. The carelessness of these earliest years of life, should be what the children will miss the most. The early childhood educators, who can help the parents in raising up their young, even as they're not related to these, young children, so long as they don't get questioned for improperly mistreating the young children, they would be more than satisfied, no matter how hard they all, worked.
Since the exposures became a technique to help the city councilperson gain widespread fame and support, the images of the "improper means of interactions between the nursery center workers along with the interactions of preschool teachers with the young children", became the markings of justice which the city councilperson hosted the press conferences for. On October 20th, 2023, a city councilperson from Taipei hosted a press conference on "Preschool Abuse", publicized enough personal footage of the child's faces, accused the preschool teacher for improperly treating. She'd mentioned that a toddler was running the laps on the track, became completely exhausted, fell multiple times, and the instructor had, dragged him to run; another young child was forced by the instructor to "haul a cart" to train his, agility.
In actuality, these activities, were from the assessments made by the preschool instructors after evaluating the medical reports, and had discussed with the special needs educators and the parents, then, designed out the I.E.P.s which fitted early intervention needs of the children, to train the muscle strengths. The city councilpersons didn't verify the facts, and, exposed the videos that were captured, causing the preschool to be surrounded by the press, making the young children fear, causing the educators to be unable to teach their lessons. And, the disclosures of these footages of special needs children had, breached the rights of the children, and the instructors who were caught in the middle of these, unfounded accusations of abuse and mistreatments, are now, being under long-term bullying and cyberbully from the society. Even as the kids still nagged the teachers to play "pushing the cart", but the instructors who'd been tried too hard, already, have no more, energies to push, and the instructors are thinking of, making a, group exit.
The preschool felt that the city councilperson didn't check the facts completely, and asked for payments of damages in half a million dollars N.T. In April of 2024, the second mediation occurred, with the councilperson unwilling to face it her/himself, and had only the office manager to attend, and claimed that s/he couldn't pay the half a million dollars N.T. In actuality, all the preschool wanted was a "sincere apology", for the instructors who gave it all, they only wanted what was then available, the "achievements of their work, as well as their dignity". Taiwan is a country of law, the bad, unfitting instructors will be punished by law, and they would get fined too; but the good instructors, they should NOT get burned at the stakes, simply because the city councilpersons wanted their, fifteen seconds of, fame, and become, completely, damaged to beyond repair.
The city councilpersons who run on the mottos of "children's welfare", behaved, completely opposite to what they're, promoting verbally. It's close to a year since the incident, and to date, not a single word of apologize had come from the councilperson to the school or to the teacher who'd been, accused of mistreating the young children.
The attacks on the preschool had been ongoing for months to date, and all the councilperson stated was, there are too many cases of child abuse, we're only trying to clarify things, to ease the minds of our constituents. I don't know, if it's the misunderstanding of facts versus unchecked facts, or the purpose of how the city councilperson's not checking the facts twice, and allowing the society to witch hunt the preschool is? I can't understand, how the councilperson could respond, "I respect, that it's the right of the people to sue". As an educator myself, I know that people can, learn, I hope, that the city councilperson can, apologize for the behaviors, and to introspect. And if the councilperson refused to do so in court, there's nothing the preschool can do, and can only, keep on, being, a scapegoat of the, systems.
In politics, there were the plays of right versus wrong, but, there are, too many opinions and not enough checked facts, and in the end, the society gets, torn, apart, just because you have reasons to doubt, and the powers, that doesn't give you the right to be, unreasonable. For the children, we must, rebuild a society of warmth, that's ruled by reasoning, to lower the control of the powers by the government officials, to structure the orders of society. Otherwise, what, do we have, to teach the children from?
This is on, how it's only about that, three nanoseconds of fame for the city councilperson, s/he thought that s/he's done a good deed, exposing the instructor for "physical abuse" of the young children, without checking the facts first, and even AFTER it'd been confirmed, that the instructors were going by the therapeutic suggestions of the early intervention for the specific child's needs, and that still just showed, how these politicians, only used their mouths to talk, and SHIT's still coming out of, their, mouths, and this is a bad example for the world, I mean, can you imagine, how a world that runs on these, false accusations, unchecked facts will become, totally, dysfunctional???
