The day was pretty interesting. I learnt some Microsoft Excel today. Developer learning Microsoft Excel is quite weird for me because I am not used to working on excel and typing formulas in Excel. I am used to SQL and the I needed to find error in the Excel file. So to identify exactly at which place error is, I had to learn excel formulas and then I did it and somehow found the issue and then resolved it.

Incidence like this teach us why you need to be open to learning. You will have to adapt change because you never know exactly what error or issue will knock your door and surprise you.

Because of this issue I was not able to do any kind of development related work. I just started and was testing if everything is working fine or not then this issue just came and shocked me because after almost 4 hours I was able to figure out the issue. Because for most of my time I was searching for error in code but the issue was in the Excel file. Then I had to figure out from 50000 record and around 15 column present in Excel where actually the issue is. Finally it is sorted now and I can do my development in peace tomorrow morning.

So today's learning: "Be open to learning. It is the only thing that you can do to make progress."
