We have a bazillion old bricks and plenty of paint and time. I wanted a craft that could be done outside to enjoy another beautiful day--and so this. It aint-Pinterest-perfect but it was fun and the kids all made their own unique version.

Really, the kids were just in it for the chance to glue on some googly eyes. Can. Not. Resist. Googly. Eyes! (P.S. The one on the right is supposed to be an elephant, with tusks, in case you were wondering.)

I painted stripes so they sorta looked like pumpkins on the back. That way we can flip them around and they'll be less Halloween-ish. Or maybe I'll just repaint over the top at Christmas time? Paint them green and stack them to make a Christmas tree? Who knows.
