If there is one thing I've learned from the past 18 months it's that when it comes to fashion, that is that women love loungewear. So, last year we all bought everything cozy because we were never going out and doing anything, but now we have a closet full of loungewear and it's time to get out and about. Now, instead of leaving your loungewear in the back of the closet, I'm going to show you how to dress up loungewear!
Take your loungewear from Netflix and chill to out and about...
Amazon is always full of loungewear options. Whether you want a short-sleeved option with shorts or a long sleeve with pants the option is there for you. If I'm hanging around the house this is pretty much how you'll see my loungewear. Plain jane, giving me an alternative to not being caught in my pj's at 2 pm, however still feeling comfy.
When you're ready to head out and run some errands you can easily elevate your favorite lounge set with some dressy sneakers, jewelry, and a denim jacket. I love layering up my jewelry to make it more of a statement.
Now, when it comes to the sneakers, you're going to want to stick with a pair of dressy casual sneakers like P448 rather than a pair of athletic sneakers or you're going to give off the vibe you're heading to the track for a run. You may laugh now, but trust me...
3 Outfit Ideas for How to Dress Up Loungewear Include:
Select a basic colored loungewear set.
Accessorize with jewelry, hats, jackets and bags.
When picking out your shoes, go with a dressier style sneaker or sandal.
Now, throw up your hair and head out to lunch or the grocery store with your new favorite loungewear. Trust me, with these tips you won't be looking like you're wearing your pajamas while in Wal Mart.
