I'm proud of myself! If you've accomplished a goal or even a small portion of a goal, you should be too! I finished a few Art Journal entries, and made some touch-ups on 3 canvas pieces. I'm determined to continue this momentum (hopefully).

Anyway, lately I've been drawn to hearts. It's been fun experimenting with them and other patterns.

When it comes to choosing colors I've been sticking to pinks, purples, and blues, and finding subtle ways to incorporate black. Sometimes it's difficult to keep any dark color from dominating the whole painting (unless that's the goal), so of course placement is important.
