I'm So Sick Of Being The On-Call Parent

You know the sound: "Mom. Mom. MOM! Mom MOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM!" And those calls are extra loud for work-from-home moms. "Becoming a 'work from home' parent was supposed to make life easier and more enjoyable," writes Stephanie Malia Krauss today. "I was finally able to take my kids to school and see them when they got home. I would "save" time from not driving to and from an office. My husband commutes, so one of us would be close in case a child needed something."

Only, there's a catch: "Turns out, our boys need things all the time." Check it out and see if you relate. (I bet you do.)

CONFESS IT ALL
From The Confessional: The Truth About Other People's Kids

We're diving into the Scary Mommy Confessional again today. The theme? Other people's kids. Because lord knows you better watch what you say IRL. "My best mom friend's kids are annoying AF," admits one person; "I think my baby is cuter than all the other babies," says another. (To be fair, we all think our babies are the cutest babies.) Check it out and, as always, if you want to share, hit us up through the form here.
