The Woman Was Sued for Obstruction of Election During the Nine-in-One, She Had No Malicious Intent, the Legal Realms Criticized the District Attorney's Office: Making Something Out of, Nothing
The retired nurse, Chia in the 9-in-1 elections of last year, posted the message of "Every Dentist Association across Taiwan is helping Chen, everybody receives $500N.T.s", and other messages, and she was reported to the Hsinbei D.A.'s Office, the Shihlin D.A.'s Office charged her on public official helping someone campaign, and indicted her. The Shihlin District Court found, that Chai only reposted the message, that she didn't intend any harm, gave her the not guilty verdict.

The experts in law believed, that in this case, the retired woman's posting the news, was like the good morning greetings that elderly exchanged, that it'd not caused anybody to lose out in the elections in intent, that the district attorney's office's going after the people for reposting what was sent to them from someone else is using a cannon to HIT a tiny bird; checking for bribes should be catching those who are actually receiving and giving physical bribes, and NOT going after ordinary citizens for posting stuff on the groups.
The indictment of the D.A.'s office pointed out, that on September eighth of last year, Chai posted in her group, with 135 members called the "Eight Hundred Group Representatives", that "All the dentist associations across the island are putting their supports in for Chen, heading on the tour buses on September 25th, to head up north to his campaign in Taipei, everybody who goes receives $500N.T.s", a total of, three messages, that she'd, intentionally, distorted the activities of the Taipei Dentist Union, and stated, that all who goes shall receive $500N.T.s, that she'd intentionally caused, the candidate to not get, elected, that she'd passed the messages around, defamed the candidate, causing the voters to sway, that she was, indicted on "attempting to cause the candidate to not get elected by spreading untrue rumors".
Chai denied having committed this crime, she'd described, that "it's like when I hear a good song, watched a good video, I would, share it on LINE", she's not the writer of the, article, but received the message from a younger schoolmate, then, passed it, around to others, that she had NO intent to cause anyone to lose the elections, and besides, there were the same news stories on the PTT boards too.

The Shihlin District Court found, that at the start of the month was when Chai started passing the messages, that the campaigns were at the end of the month, that at the time of her posting the message, she didn't know the ongoings of Chen's campaign, considering what was on the article she'd, passed around, there were the related messages from online then; Chai who was in her sixties, only passed what she received from someone else, that it's hard to prove, that she had the malicious intent, to spread fake news, to cause the candidate to lose the race, she was found not guilty, and this can still be, appealed.
And so, this is how the DDP run government still made something out of nothing, and because this is a BAD word that's, against their own, candidates, they'd gone all out in guns and cannons, going after this, RETIRED school instructor, who was, only, passing the, SECONDHAND information on, to her line group, and we're, allowing for this SHIT, and it's also, our, TAX DOLLARS that's, paying for these, bullshitting, "trials", of the DDP too!
