Getting SCAPEGOATED, and this group of people are already, OVERWORKED, with how many cases per social worker again??? Exactly, but hey, we the people, EXPECT them to DO their jobs right, and when shits like this happens in the society, we only want someone to, POINT a finger towards, someone to, B-L-A-M-E, so, the social workers get, SCAPEGOATED! Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
The Children's Welfare League's social worker, Chen became the scapegoat of the public's anger in the case of the young toddler getting abused to death by the nanny, the Department of Health Welfare & Sanitations demanded that the social workers increase the frequencies of the home visits, but the supervisor, Chen of the social workers of the Children's Welfare League told, that there are as many as thirty cases assigned to each social worker, and the child abusers are usually excellent at hiding the facts, and, it is next to impossible to rely solely on the social workers to catch these incidents. And, many more of the entry level social workers reflected, that although after the incidents of child abuse had been discovered, and the home visits increased in frequencies, it'd become more difficult for them to make the home visits, that they were often cussed out or threatened by the families who'd abused the children.

"Never could I have imagined, that social work can be such a despised job.", Mr. Chen who'd worked as a social worker for over a decade told, of late, many of the local residents, as they walked past the headquarter of the Children's Welfare League, they'd cussed loudly, it'd brought the drives to keep on fighting down for his coworkers and him. In reality, if money was their sole purpose, then, none of them would work in social work, they only wanted to help those who are of the lesser means, but recently, they'd become, the most-hated, that made it difficult for him and his coworkers to, bear.
Mr. Chen told, that many blamed the social worker, Chen for falsifying the records, and this part of the issue is already being investigated on, if there's negligence on their part, then, they will shoulder the responsibility; but, the incident also caused the collective worries of the social workers, because no social worker believed that the records they kept of their home visits to the cases, can withstand the trials of the court cases, "We are all fearful, that we would be the next ones, led away, in, cuffs the next time around."

Mr. Chen works as a social worker for the fragile families. He'd stated, that on average, every worker handles twenty-five to thirty cases, and taking the work day of twenty-two days per month, it is, very difficult as is, to visit one case per day, while the Department of Social Welfare still demanded that they increase the frequencies of the visits to the homes, this will only, cause the social workers' stresses of work to increase.
Mr. Chen told, that because of this incident, it'd caused the entire realm of social workers to become, lacking in zest, that these past few days, he'd received words of encouragements to him, "the inventions of trains can cause the trains to derail, the problems in flight safety as the airplanes get invented, setting up the social security nets, and, there would be those who'd fallen through the cracks, the families without the means to care for themselves, and the young children, and you can only, use the evaluation means, to make sure that the nets of security gets tightened.", the letter gave him the courage, to help the lesser he'd lost again.
So, this is a job that's been, taken for, granted, when the world is, operating fine, nobody gives this group of hard working people the kudos, but once something goes wrong, like this case of the toddler getting abused to death by the nanny, everybody started pointing the GUNS at the social workers. Social work became, a THANKLESS job, and yet, we are in need of this group of, hardworking individuals, to set up the net of protection, and we're still, blaming them? Yeah uh, right.
