BBC and other foreign media press reported on the thirteenth, that at the Bondi Junction Westfield at three local time in Sydney there was a random hacking attack, resulted in six fatalities. The PM of Australia, Albanese issued a statement after the attack, that this was a shocking, horrifying act of violence, targeting the innocent people who are, bystanders, and all of these who'd been injured or killed, were only shopping on a regular weekend afternoon. But he'd also stated, that there was no motives found for this act of violence, and called the female officer who killed the attacker a "hero".
And, as for why the authorities believed, that this is not an act of terrorism, Webber explained, based off of police understanding, a few key characteristics can explain why, but the police is still currently investigating into the background of the suspect, where he lived, worked, his coworkers, friends, and the cars that he'd used; as for the motives, it's too early to speculate at this time.
Based off of the footages on the social media, there are people shopping at the mall, many were mothers with their young, the panic crowd started running off into the sky bridge to escape, some had found their ways into the parking lot, and left by car. Multiple police vehicles, emergency service vehicles had, arrived on site, and started up, sealing up the scene.

And so, this is, a random hacking, and, there's no reasons found yet, of why this man went on a shooting rampage, this case showed how important it is, for gun control to be set into place, because if anyone can get her/his hands on a dangerous weapon, then, we might as well all have that target on our, backs!
