And you still don't think that reduced birthrate is, a matter of, "national emergency"??? Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
The symptoms of reduction of birthrates is now, breaking loose, other than the number of servicemen being reduced greatly, the various level of schools are also, faced with the "trends of closing up shop". From the primary education to secondary, to the private universities, the scale is comparable to that of the shutting down of the factory plants. The D.o.D. had run short on servicemen, the government of Lai immediately came up with the plans of getting the families of the lower end of the socioeconomic status to sign on, but was ignorant and blind toward the fact that the schools are losing the students, and shutting down one by one. No wonder, the matter of education is the sum of a whole decade's worth of work, while the president only cared about the reelection that comes, two years from now.

The summer trends of taking the schools out of business, this ran from the private universities, all the way, to the mandatory elementary, middle, and high school education. Other than the major exit of the FOUR private universities, there are, also, twenty schools of the primary and secondary education that got, slashed, a historical high. And, there are over a thousand of school, with less than a hundred students registered waiting to get cut, and, half of these schools had the enrollment of less than fifty students, and are, counting down to their exits. Another thirteen private high schools or technical high schools, were listed as the "about to make their exits". Based off of the private school guild, in three years, there are going to be, fifty MORE private technical high schools or high schools, forty private universities and colleges, facing that same, fate.
This tsunami had, spread all over Taiwan's distant region areas, especially the technical education, facing, extinction. Not only would the students have to, go to school in other districts away from their homes, the tracks of getting higher in education is zoomed in on the academic track, the regular high schools and universities, severing off the skills, and adding more problems to the chains of industry breaking, down.
causing this...more blue collars, working longer, but earning, less and less, which means, that they won't be able to support their own young, which leads to a total reduction of, birth rate, which then, cause a HUGE IMPACT on the aging community...it all runs together...illustration from online
The Department of Education doesn't keep the able-bodied, intelligent students in place in its handling of shutting down these schools, not only did it NOT actively plan out the track switch of the instructors, they'd not offered aid to the "lesser" students who are facing their schools getting shut down. Based off of statistics, close to twenty-percent of students who'd transferred to a new school will, drop out eventually. The DDP showed NO care or concerns for the next generation of this current wave of reduction of birth rate, disregarding the students' right to be in school, turning the instructors into vagabonds, what sort of loving Taiwan are they, showing?
The former president, Chen, and Lai, had they been born into today's society, they can only, stay in the distant region schools, getting brain washed by the ideologies from the new curricular reform, let alone, becoming presidents, entered into N.T.U. Law, or medical school!
So, this is, how it goes, because the DDP government, disregarded that the reduced birthrate AS, a NATIONAL EMERGENCY, and not developed the skills courses for the technical high school programs, and all of this ties together, because the birthrates are, reduced, there will be less and less children who enter into school, and even less who will, graduate out of their K~12, and go into the universities, and with the focuses shifting toward the academic-oriented, this is, going to, cause a huge problem, because the technical schools will lose out in being the "favorites" of the students' choice, and, without these skilled individuals, how can we have what it takes, to keep the technological advancements going for this country. It all, ties together, and, the government is still NOT doing enough, and the problem with the younger generations now, is that they're already, not making enough to live off of, with the housing costs getting higher, less and less of these married couples are, willing to have children, and with the population aging too quickly, you DO see, how this becomes, a HUGE, national, crisis, right? But, does the DDP government do a thing? HECK no! And that is how, this island is, going DOWN, and it doesn't even take the COMMUNISTS to STRIKE with that missile submarine, or open fire on this island…
