Receiving the kindness from a stranger, and now, you're, paying it, forward, continuing this, cycle of, kindness…translated…
Because I'd never been agile at making money, for the sake of saving up my money, I'd often had a plain bun per meal, and if my submissions to the newspapers got printed, I'd rewarded myself with a plate of stinky tofu. I'd not had enough nutrition in my diet, and so I'd always, looked too thin and famished.
And yet, there were, always those, unexpected expenses, to make up for the lacking, other than sending my regular submissions into the newspapers, I'd also, actively participated in the writing contests. One year, Fo Guan Shan had an essay contest, I'd written an essay and a short story, submitted both in, and yet, the essay I thought would be an easy win didn't get picked, but instead, my short story was, selected! Other than the $5,000N.T. cash prize, there are also a $2,000N.T. book voucher.
I'd used the cash to pay my bills, took my gift certificates to the Fo Guan Shan shop, and finally, I'd made the selection of the book I'd wanted, as I checked out, the cashier told me, "this series can't be paid for with the gift certificates", in shock, I'd placed the book back, and tried to select the book I wanted again, but, I couldn't, find one I'd wanted to, read, I'd stood in front of the bookcases, hesitated a very, long time. At this time, an elegant looking female customer, may have heard my conversations with the clerk, understood my difficulty, came over and told me, "I'll purchase these gift certificates from you for $2,000N.T.s." and because of this lady, I got the book I'd, wanted to have.

Afterwards, I'd, entered into a writing contest from the city government, and won the gift certificates of over $20,000N.T. of a mall, I'd traded the certificates in for a laptop and a digital camera, and planned to spend the remaining few thousands of dollars slowly. During that period of time, a friend who's preparing for his national exams, who'd become too frugal as I had lived normally, started sharing with me, where the restaurants with huge servings and are cheap to eat at, and I'd decided, to treat him to a meal at the food court of a mall.
As we arrived in the food court, I'd told him, to order whatever he wanted to eat. He worried that I was, way over my limit, insisted on paying for his own meal, and ordered the cheapest items on the menu. I couldn't stand it, added more dishes, and he'd looked, quite surprised! After we'd finished the meal and I'd paid the bills, I'd taken him to the bakery in the food courts, bought a ton of sweets and snacks for him.
My friend doesn't know that I have the habits of writing, only felt, that the whole thing was, completely, unreal, and asked, if I was taking some medication? Actually, I'd just only known what it'd felt to not have money in my pockets, and only wanted to pay that woman's kindness from the bookshop, forward!
and when you're able to...you pay it, forward! Photo from online
And so, this is how the acts of kindness you'd offered someone else, can generate more kindness, because the writer didn't have enough money, he'd lived on the dimes, and, he was helped by a stranger, and, he's, paying it forward, by treating his friend who's living off like he was, to something good.
By paying it forward, you're, making sure, that the cycle of kindness does NOT stops with you, and chances are, this cycle will keep on rolling onward!
