This would be, one more ACT of greatness, before Biden gets out of office, one of his final achievements as a U.S. president, while the Russian government has its own, considerations on the matter too, off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
The Russo-Ukrainian Conflict had been ongoing for close to three years to date, this was the lowest time of Russo-American relations since the end of the Cold War, so why was this hostage exchange negotiation still able to go through? The foreign press analyzed and found the following.

The largest-in-scale prisoner exchange between Russia and western countries for decades, may help reinforce the performance of Biden's foreign affair achievements for the remainder of his six months' term as president, and helps in his publicly supporting Harris as the presidential candidate.
Despite how Biden's foreign affairs report card revolved around U.S.'s involvement of the Israeli-Hamas and the Russo-Ukrainian Conflicts, but the timing of U.S. and Russia making the deal of the trade of prisoner exchange that's complex, which involved other countries, gave Biden his needed diplomacy achievement in times of heightened tension in the global community during the deadlock of the Russo-Ukrainian and the conflicts in the Middle East.
This prisoner exchange helped gave Biden's diplomatic policy priorities, especially as he'd announced his support for Harris as president after he'd dropped out of the races, the former WH advisor on the Middle East, Ross believes, that this is the achievement of having agile skills in diplomacy.
Biden's cabinet disclosed, that two weeks ago, U.S. received the news of Russia about to accept the negotiation deal, until an hour before he announced his dropping out of the races on July 21st, Biden, who's in his at-home quarantine from MERS-CoV contraction was still on the phones.
And, the ally to the U.S., Germany played a key role in this. On the press conference, Biden stated that he was grateful for the PM of Germany, Scholz. Because the deal of the prisoner exchange "we needed a huge compromise from Germany, but because of the persons involved, I'd originally believed it to be impossible."
The key to making the deal was in Germany's accepting to Putin's demands, the immediate release of Krasikov. For many years, Krasikov had been at the top of the list for the prisoner exchange. Earlier this year, Putin showed interests in the negotiation of the prisoner exchange, using the release of the "patriot" of Russia in the German prison, and the individual was, Krasikov.

The scholar from U.S. John Hopkins University believed that the prisoner exchange showed great improvement of Russian-American relationship in Biden's term compared to in Trump's. Reason why German government agreed to the trade was because Germany had certain levels of faith in the U.S., the trust and the beliefs in the common interests.
Currently, it's unknown why Putin didn't wait for Trump's possible comeback to the WH next January to have the prisoner exchange, instead of trading the prisoner during Biden's terms, after all, Trump fitted to the benefits of Russia more. But, Putin may be considering, that having the prisoner exchanges now with the Biden government can save him the trouble of having to do everything from step one with the newly elected president of the United States next year.
So, this couldn't have happened, without Germany, as Germany was the country with the patriot from Russia locked in, and, this just showed, that no matter how great a country is, it still needed other countries' alliances. And, this may have added points to the outlook of the Democrats' possibilities of winning the elections this November, or it may not…
