The students are unsafe in the schools, because you don't know if you're going to the toilets and someone's actually installed that spycam in the air fresheners or toilet rolls or whatever!
The Politiciams Slammed the Taipei Government for Allowing the Schools to Turn into a "Hotbed" for Voyeurs, the City Allowed for the Surveil of the Cameras within One Week
The legislators of the DDP attacked the cases of child and adolescent abuses in school in the city of Taipei continually, the city councilperson from the DDP pointed out that the surrogate instructor's being involved in the case of voyeurism of the "Creative Private Quarters", that despite how he'd been suspended soon as the school found out his involvement, but most of the schools didn't follow through the testing of the spycams in the schools, turning the schools into a "hotbed for voyeurism", the Department of Education of Taipei promised to test all the schools within one week. The DDP also questioned of how seventy-percent of the victims of the private school in Xinyi District couldn't get justice, the Department of Education responded, that if the parents needed, they will offer any and all assistance.
The councilwoman, Yen told, that since 2012, the anti-spycam management was set up, demanded all schools in the city and the public places to test for the spycams at least once every month, but it'd been found, that from 2021 to last year, there are still eighteen school that didn't follow the testing means, to the point of having NO testing for spycams on record for consecutive years.
Yen used Seoul, South Korea as example, that as early as 2017, the city set up the "spycam testing squad, demanded that the city government of Taipei to increase the frequencies of testing for the cameras, to lead by example.

The Department of Education o Taipei pointed out, that it will supervise the schools to set up the testing means again within a week, and discuss the matter of the external employees to come into the schools for the unannounced checks periodically, to prevent the instances of voyeurism in the schools, giving a safe and secure environment back to the students and teachers in the schools.
The DDP central also questioned the case of the private preschool case, the councilwoman, Chien and others questioned, that during Ke's term as mayor, there'd been one case that didn't even get investigated and got closed, in Chiang's time as mayor, there were a total of twenty-four cases reported, and there'd only been eight that were confirmed as sex assault, with the rest being "uncertain", "the mayor, Chiang's stating that he would evaluate is nothing but hot air."
The head of Department of Education of Taipei, Yang stated, some believed that it would be more effective, expressing the means in the criminal hearings, and they'd not discussed the matter on the discussions of the Department of Education, "our investigative procedural will respect the children's will," caring for the children is the responsibilities of the Department of Education, so long as there's the needs from any parent, the Department of Education will offer all the help, all the resources that it can.

The deputy director of Department of Education, Chen added, "whether it be just one case or twenty-four cases, we will all punish the schools and the perps severely", there's no need to cover up the cases, but if the cases constitute as sexual harassment or sexual assault? There's still the need for the justice department investigations to confirm, that way, we can give the truth back to every child.
So, this is how the newly elected mayor of Taipei got thrown under the buses, and people failed to note, that these cases had been from Ke's term, and why did the DDP legislators not gone after that "last guy"? Because he's not KMT, so there's the politically correctness to this, and there's the need for the testing of the spycams in the schools for sure!
