Why are we all, tempted by money, especially these, already, rich enough politicians? Because we can, NEVER have enough money in our lives? Or because, we just get, too, greedy??? Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
On the case of volume of the Jinghwa Malls, the district attorneys had brought the C.E.O. of the Core Pacific Group chair, Shen, the city councilwoman of KMT, Ying, and others in for questioning, and the ripple effect is continuing on. The former mayor, Ke, although claimed that the process was legal, that he'd not taken a penny for the projects, but, it is so that so long as the government officials not taken a cent of money, that they're not involved in encroachment?
Although based off of the Fourth Regulation Section one, fourth, when the government officials went against their duties, receiving the illegally offered money, there would be the prison sentence of anywhere from ten years to life, or more than ten years' prison sentence. And yet, these crimes are usually hidden, hard to know of, even harder to have the evidences collected, plus the justice department is still vague in the definitions, even if the cases were prosecuted, they don't necessarily stick, which allowed the criminals feel, that they can get away with it. To make up for the holes in the clauses of the law of government officials taking bribes, there would be the need to enforce the law against government officials receiving the incentives offered illegally.
and they're all, tempted by, M-O-N-E-Y!!! Video from YouTube
On the case of the mall, other than unless the person filing the papers had received the bribes, the case would not get prosecuted as encroachment, but on the offerings of benefits, and, the paying off with benefits charge, can only be prosecuted if the companies had given the incentives to the individuals in form of bribes. And the corrections report by the Examination Department on the city government of Taipei that came in January pointed out, that it is illegal, to offer up the zones of urbanization as a reward. The city of Taipei had made its awards of contribution to smart city, etc., etc., etc., increasing the regards from 3.92 times to 5.6 times then to 8.4 times, this absurd behavior, the entire discussion of the issues, the policy setting procedural is completely, flawed, causing the City Mall to gain enormous amount of monetary gifts, and naturally, this is a crime of benefits.
And on this case, because the mayor was the one, who'd ordered the deeds, and although, he had, given his seal of approval, however, the process is under the means of the urbanization department, ruled on by the committee members, and the collecting of these evidences to convict, is a test of the district attorneys' abilities too.
In Ke's term as mayor, he'd stated that his city government is open, transparent in its businesses, hoping to set an example of what morally responsible local government is. It's just, that the case of the City Mall Construction, how he is now involved in pocketing the money donated to the campaigns of his political party, whether he will get prosecuted criminally in the future, found guilty, but from the entire spectrum of the procedural, it'd broken Ke's motto for running the city government, of "open, transparent". This made people wonder, does the power, actually, cause corruption?
So, the sole issue is on how this former mayor was enticed by money, that is the key to all of this, because he can't turn down the money offered to him, to give the construction bidding to the company, and he'd, set up the bogus firm to funnel the money he'd embezzled from the construction projects, and now he's caught, and this is not just on how the powers had, corrupted this, former mayor, but how money is the sole source of corruption, I mean, if not enough money had been offered, you think all of this SHIT would happen? Maybe it still would, but there's a much smaller chance that the encroachment will, occur, so here, money is still, the K-E-Y, to cause all of these, corruptions, the bribes, and nobody can turn the monetary offers, away.
