Beauty begins with a good diet, good sleep patterns, hydration, and habits. Your hair and complexion are the first things people notice.
Hair:
Find the best shampoo and conditioner for your hair type. Find a hairstyle that doesn't require a lot of maintenance. Well-groomed hair that is brushed and styled. Coconut oil is an excellent deep conditioner.
Complexion:
Basic skin never goes out of style. Cetaphil is an excellent face wash. Buy the best moisturizer and sunscreen you can afford. In the summer, I keep a refrigerated bottle of aloe gel and witch hazel for quick toner.
Well-groomed eyebrows are key to looking your best. A bit of tweezing, brow powder, or pencil can make a big difference.
Make-up
The first thing is not to waste what you have. You can waste up to 25% of your products. I used to squeeze every tube and bottle, I cut the tubes and bottles apart.
Stick to a color palette you know that suits your coloring. We have always purchased colors that do not enhance our beauty. I look terrible in peach.
Wear less products. All-in-one color sticks can look lovely when worn as eye, cheek, and lip makeup.
Good makeup tools will pay for themselves. Facial brushes, an eyelash curler, and reusable sponges will enhance your beauty.
