The charity National Numeracy trains Numeracy Champions to support others to get more confident with numbers, or even to start working towards getting a qualification.
Numeracy Champions don't teach maths – they are given the tools and resources to support other adults to feel more confident and signpost them to take those first steps in getting back into learning.
Everyone needs to feel confident with numbers, whether it's to deal with the maths that comes up in your job, or to be able to schedule journeys, support children, and manage your money. Up to half of adults in the UK do not feel confident with numbers and it's holding us back in life.
Places on National Numeracy's CPD accredited 'Numeracy Champion Training – Supporting Adults' training programme are available fully funded by South Yorkshire Combined Authority.
The training is delivered online. See all dates on the National Numeracy website.
