We are homesteading family and I will write what I would purchase to feed a family of 4 for 5 dinners for the week. We assume that you have oil, rice flour, spices, and eggs. My neighbor wasn't feeling well so she asked me to do her shopping for her on the cheap for the week. Her husband is out of town for the week. I am instructing the boys on how to cook for the week.

On Sunday afternoon, our son and I went over to help the boys make the meals for the week. I shopped for her in the morning. I put the chicken and pork into individual crackpots. We returned later to shred the meats and make up the meals for the week to put in the freezer. It took just under 2 hours for the work. I wrote the directions to heat all the meals and the sides to go with them.
