This event will be lead by the Department for Education on Wednesday 20 September between 2pm-3pm, and will provide information about Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs) and how they can support the NHS workforce.
HTQs are occupation focused qualifications at level 4/5 that have been introduced to provide the skills employers tell us they need. They are flexible, provider-based qualifications benefiting a wide variety of learners. From September, HTQs in health occupations such as Nursing Associate, Assistant Practitioner and Hearing Aid Dispenser will be available.
This webinar will cover:
- What they are?
- Who they are for?
- Where they are taught?
- Why they were introduced?
- Where they sit in the qualifications landscape?
- When they will be rolled out?
- Where to find more information?
The Department for Education will be joined by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE) who lead on the HTQ approval process, and there will be the opportunity for Q & A at the end.
