South Yorkshire Housing Association, in partnership with Sheffield City Council, is holding a Changing Futures Collaboration event on Wednesday 22 November, to be held at South Yorkshire Housing Association, 152 Rockingham Street, Sheffield, S1 4EB.
The aim of the event is to promote and elaborate on how changing recruitment practices can lead to more diverse teams, including the difference recruiting people with lived experience makes and how it impacts upon the communities that organisations work in.
The event is aimed at employers or organisations who are interested in finding out more about adapting recruitment practices.
Due to some technical anomalies, there are two registration links and either one can be used to book a place at the event:

Agenda
10:30 – 10:45: Meet and greet with other attendees, time for refreshments and networking
10:45: Introduction and Housekeeping leading into presentations
10:50 – 12:00: Presentations (lasting roughly 15 minutes each with some time for run over / questions)
• SYHA - Presentation around work into supporting people in the workplace, approaching finding work in different ways and work done with NHS around alternative recruitment practices
• Changing Futures – presentation around the importance of Lived experience in recruitment and the findings they have found from their project
• Sheffield City Council – talk around changes made to recruitment practices and the benefits
• Think Ahead – Presentation around the work they have done on their project and how it has lead to different recruitment practices and more diverse workforce
