I typically use antique Wagner castiron. Treated correctly, it can last for generations. I have a few Lodge pieces. This is a different brand. It washed up nicely with coarse salt and hot water. I dried it on the burner for a few minutes and oiled it.
The cutting board is a nice size and is about 1.5 inches thick. It fits over my bamboo meal prep station too.
