These treats come in at under 2 dollars. I made Roasted chickpeas seasoned with oil, garlic, and salt. I roasted them at 400 for 15 minutes in my airfryer. I used the liquid from the chickpeas to make meringues . I whipped the icecold liquid with 3/4 cup of sugarand a cap full of lemon juice. It took 20 minutes to form stiff peaks. I made 40 of them. As an experiment, I used half the "batter" to make icecream. I will let you know how it turns out.
These were quite crispy. I baked the rest in the toaster oven.
