Many of us think we have set proper boundaries, but sometimes we realize there's room for improvement. Recognizing the need for boundaries is essential for maintaining healthy relationships and mental well-being. Let's take a moment to discuss "The Importance of Boundaries in Relationships: How to Protect Your Mental Health."
Do you notice when a relationship starts affecting you negatively? If so, how do you respond? Were you able to set boundaries, and how did that change the relationship? These are important questions when it comes to boundaries. It is important to not make any excuses for wrong treatment or feeling uncomfortable about your situation. A proper boundary will enable you to draw a healthy line for each one to see how you feel about things.
Setting boundaries might make you or others uncomfortable at first. But ask yourself, do you want to constantly feel like you're 'walking on eggshells'? It's important to recognize that trying to please everyone is impossible and unhealthy. This kind of mindset can really affect your self-esteem and may cause you to question your own convictions and standards. Remember, not everyone will always understand or approve of your boundaries. But those who truly care for you will respect your need for a safe and supportive environment.

With this said, I think it is important that we accept the boundaries others may put in place too. We each may have a boundary for different reasons and they can change overtime for different reasons. Perhaps, you experienced some difficult places and things in life that have caused you to have a boundary (a wall) you have put in place for your heart's protection. This too is important to recognize if you need to lower this boundary and accept love and forgiveness.
