Roberto Maroni era nato a Varese il 15 marzo 1955.
Sposato, due figli, laureato in giurisprudenza, avvocato, e' stato responsabile dell' ufficio legale della sede italiana di una multinazionale statunitense. Tifoso del Milan, Maroni aveva anche la passione per la musica e suonava il sassofono in una ''band''.Considerato il braccio destro di Bossi e il numero due della Lega, Maroni ha fatto parte della Lega Lombarda fin dalla sua fondazione.
Secondo quanto si è appreso, Maroni si è spento nella sua casa nel Varesotto dove ha trascorso gli ultimi mesi. Ha condiviso con Umberto Bossi gli inizi della Lega Nord: tre volte ministro, vicepremier, ex governatore della Regione Lombardia, è anche stato segretario federale della Lega. Dal 2021, quando ha scoperto la malattia che lo ha condotto alla morte, si era ritirato dalla politica attiva.

A child from, the distant stars, will one day, fly up, to the ends of, a distant, galaxy, where s/he will, find others who are, just like her/him, but until, those, nonexistent wings of her/his, start popping out of her/his back, s/he is, tied to, the grounds of this, god damn, planet.
And, no matter how much this child from the, distant stars, longed to fit in, with the rest of, the "general population", s/he will always feel like, the odd one, out!

Sementara itu, Wahyu, salah satu jurnalis yang secara kontinyu mengikuti perkembangan perolehan medali dalam Porprov Banten ke-VI mengakui hal yang sama. Beberapa kali ia melihat up date medali di media center Porprov Banten ke VI rentang perubahan perolehan medali yang dilakukan oleh pihak pantia penyelenggara terlalu lama.
Saat ia menanyakan ke petugas di Media Center Porprov disebutkan, tampilan medali terbaru di monitor media center pihaknya tidak mempunya kewenangan. Tampilan terbaru atas perolehan medali dimonitor media center bisa dilakukan setelah ada instruksi dari Panitia Provinsi.
"Sudah nanya ke petugas di media center, up date di monitor tunggu dari provinsi. Diarahkan ke web, ternyata sama saja, up date nya lama," kata Wahyu.
Menurutnya, akibat jarangnya up date medali yang ditampilkan akan mempengaruhi perolehan informasi secara cepat tentang hasil pertandingan. Padahal informasi cepat dan akurat sangat dibutuhkan oleh media untuk disampaikan ke masyarakat.
Saat dikonfirmasi, SC Porprov Banten VI Cepi mengatakan, sepengetahuannya up date tentang perolehan medali kontingen memang dilakukan satu kali dalam satu hari. Dan pembaruan perolehan medali biasanya dilakukan pada sore hari.
"Setahu saya setiap pukul 17.00 Wib baru dilakukan up date perolehan medali. Dalam satu hari hanya satu kali di up date," terangnya. (BTL)
