Video It's Christmas and a very festive season especially for the Christian community. The churches would go all out and invest in replicating the birth of Christ. Many churches would inspire members to invest in this replication
Members would be motivated to make time, donate funds and skills towards the perfect replication of the birth of Jesus which so happens to not to be verifiable but we have agreed to celebrate on this day
Many Christmas have passed where I wondered, what God thought of hungry church members celebrating him so elaborately under a leadership that does not address their needs but exploits their poverty towards impressing others to invest in the church and not her people,
Well, I am not expecting much so change because as food scarcity and climate change bites harder, the church leaders too would get more creative and it is up to you to realise that Christmas is not a time to celebrate your church but a season to celebrate Jesus through your love for others.
By others I mean yourself and your family, your neighbours and friends, your society , people not buildings need to experience the difference of Christ through you.
