We had long schoolday today. Everyone is excited for the trip. I spent the weekend sewing 6 dresses in 6 sizes and my Etsy store jewelry stock. I will be taking these into a city consignment shop. The goal is to break even on my jewelry stock. It will be wonderful to make my usual 35% to 40% profit. It doesn't make sense to have the pieces hanging around.
We started Spring clean up. We enriched the soils with compost and aged manure in the raised garden beds. Cost= free.
My husband and I discussed the cost of an oil change 90 dollars. My husband and I both do to this task. It is still at a price where it is preferred to have someone else do it. It is messy and you have the used oil to deal with.
If you can predict what sizes your children can wear next winter, buy it now. I would spend 100 dollars now to save hundreds next year.
I fixed my husband's record player. Repair was a drive belt, I used a large rubber band. Saving: 150.00
I wrote previously I had won a large Yoga basket. I had 12 months of yoga classes. i sold them for 200 dollars.
This year's taxes show that rental property is not always profitable. We have a problematic property.
My ongoing projects since the sewing machine was up. I sewed another dog bed saving 75 dollars.
I redid the front porch chairs where we read savings 45.00
I redid the outdoor dining room chairs. 75.00 savings
I redid the porch swing and lounger saving 200.00
High traffic items and places need upkeep.
