Labor Day weekend is coming to an end, schools are back in session....summer is almost over (although hanging by a thread). FALL IS COMING!!!

When you think of Los Angeles, fall colors don't exactly come to mind. However, there is PLENTY to do to celebrate the autumn season here in this beautiful city. Don't know where to go? Don't worry - we spent Labor Day weekend dreaming up our fall bucket list. Below is a list of our top ten picks this fall season. We just need the scorching heat to drop a bit and then it's FALL Y'ALL.

FAMILY-FRIENDLY LOS ANGELES FALL BUCKET LIST:

  1. Apple picking in Oak Glen - Visit our recent blog post to see all details this year's fall season in Oak Glen, CA.
  2. Fall foliage at Descanso Gardens - Carved & Enchanted Forest tickets to non-members go on sale Oct. 1st.
  3. Corn Maze Challenge at Tapia Bros - This is SO FUN. We went pre-COVID and can't wait to go back. They have riddles through-out the maze.
  4. Visit a pumpkin patch

  5. Tree Color Change at LA Country Arbotetum & Botanic Garden - Take a peak at their "Bloom Calendar" to come when the leaves begin to change color.
  6. Bonfire on the beach - be sure to arrive early, as fire rings get snagged up quickly!
  7. Visit a new farmer's market
  8. Irvine Park Railroad - in Orange County, but what says fall more than a train ride?
  9. Fall Harvest at Underwood Family Farms - from Sept. 25th-Oct. 31st, 2021 - visit the u-pick farm for their Fall Harvest (stop for a pumpkin too!)
  10. Day trip to Big Bear - escape the hustle and bustle of city life to the mountains. Rent a cabin for the weekend, hike around the lake, visit the Big Bear Zoo. The mountains are always calling.
