How does one find a tenant? We have thought of using a property management company. We interviewed several. We were not liking the vibe. We advertised in several papers. I advertised online. I have heard many sob stories. The housing market is tight. We have interviewed many people. People are calling from all over the United States.

We think have found a renter, however, honestly, I think he will flake out. He is very interested in another property. He has made it clear that he wants another property that is wrapped up in probate court. He has agreed to do the flooring and painting instead of paying a security deposit. So, if he stays four months and completes the work, it will be worth it.

However, there are several red flags that trouble me about tenant. We will be signing the lease the middle of the month. So, there is still time for either one of us to back out.

I have called everyone who has left messages with us. People has longing to be on land and in the country. I have a list of back up renters.
