HIDIVE has announced that it will simulcast the Shikizakura anime during the Fall 2021 anime season. The simulcast will begin on October 10, 2021, and will be available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Scandinavia, Spain, Portugal, Central America, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Martinique, Puerto Rico, Saint Martin, and Saint Barthelemy.

The story of Shikizakura is described as:

A twist of fate puts ordinary high school student Kakeru Miwa on the front lines of the battle against the menacing Oni. With the help of a powerful battle suit, Kakeru joins an elite team that defends humanity from otherworldly threats. The team protects Oka Myojin, a shrine maiden prophesized to save the world by performing a sacred ritual within Shikizakura, the horizon that connects the spiritual and physical world that lies amid blooming cherry blossoms and colorful autumn leaves.
