Running back upstairs I grabbed a  ruler to measure them then studied the pattern for it.

I prepped the wall for paint when I heard him speak and ignored what he said.

"Don't use that paint"

"What"

"Make the color in between like the walls you painted"

I brought that paint last year so I used it because it was outside the return date.
