FUNimation Entertainment has announced that it will be adding the Sword Art Online the Movie -Ordinal Scale- anime film to its streaming service on November 5, 2021. The film will be available with both subtitles and with an English dub in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.

Sword Art Online the Movie -Ordinal Scale- was released to theaters in 2017, and it followed Kirito and his friends as they dive into a new game utilizing the Augma, a new, augmented reality system.
