Halle Engle netted the decisive goal with just over five minutes left in regulation to hand Mechanicsburg (16-3-2) a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Greencastle in the District 3 Class 3A semifinals. The Wildcats will meet Elco in the District 3 Class 3A Championship contest Thursday at Hersheypark Stadium at 5:30 p.m.

Madison Michelitch found the back of the net in the sixth minute to give the Wildcats an early 1-0 lead. Engle earned the assist on Michelitch's goal. The Wildcats held the lead until Greencastle's Avery Parks netted the equalizer in the 65th minute. Engle sent home the game-winner with just 5:06 left in regulation to deliver a dramatic win for the Wildcats. Molly Kleiner picked up the assist on Engle's tally.
