The December 2021 issue of Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine has announced that the second season for the In/Spectre (Kyokō Suiri or Invented Interface) anime will premiere in 2022.

Keiji Gotoh is returning to direct the second season of the anime at Brains Base, and Noboru Takagi is again in charge of the series scripts. Kentarou Matsumoto is the character designer and chief animation director. NAS is producing the project.

The first season of In/Spectre was a Crunchyroll co-production and part of the Crunchyroll Originals slate.
