1 john 5 verse 11 to 12 These two verses best explain how we can have that {assurance} of Inner peace and security.

V 11 And this is the testimony, God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son {Christ Jesus}.

v 12 This one who has the Son {Christ Jesus} has life. the one who doesn't have the Son of God {Christ Jesus} does not have life.

This is the testimony. This is what God Himself has declared as truth.

This is Record.

These are the facts.

God has, it is already done, This has been irrevocably accomplished.

God has given us, Yes He has given us eternal life through the acceptance of His Son {Christ Jesus}.

And this life in His Son {Christ Jesus], Not only gives us life, he {Christ Jesus} is the creator of life. Christ Jesus died to conquer death, and because He lives, we live also.

What do we do with this ASSURANCE. We hold on to it and we can confess Romans 8 verse 38 and 39.

V 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, V 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will have the power to separate us, from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

2 Timothy 1 verse 12 I know who I have believed and persuaded that He is able to guard what has been entrusted to me,until that day. {The day Christ returns}

Not only should we be persuaded but we should be convinced of our ASSURANCE because of what Our Lord and Our Friend has done for us and Whosoever who believes in Him.

Lets finish with the word from a famous old hymn, Blessed Assurance.

verse 1 Blessed assurance – Jesus is mine!

Oh what a foretaste of glory divine!

Heirs of salvation, purchase of God;

Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.

Indeed we have a Blessed ASSURANCE when we come and accept the great things Our Lord and Our Friend has done for us.

Blessed ASSURANCE Jesus and His forgiveness, Jesus and all He has is ours.
