V7: They will continue to grow stronger, and each of them will appear before God in Zion".
Most of us can recite the scripture verse Psalm 23 verse 4:
"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I am not afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me".
The Christian life is a journey, so let's go back and look at Psalm 84 verse 5: It is talking about pilgrimage {journey} to our eternal destination. We are in Our Lord and Our Friend's Kingdom now, but our destination is eternity with Him. Journeys generally involve all types of terrain, and all kinds of weather.
The Good News is Our Lord, and Our Friend is always with us, wherever we go, He has also been there before us, so He knows what the conditions are like. The Christian life is full of up and downs, but wherever we are, we should be looking to see what He is showing us in the circumstances.
Psalm 84 verse 6: tells us, our lowest places can become a place, where we will even find refreshing springs, where there are pools of blessing, collected from the rain. The Psalm goes on to say, we will continue to grow stronger, on our journey to our eternal destiny.
We generally have a poem, or a hymn to reflect on because this is the start of our weekend, but we felt we lead to give a word of encouragement, to some people who may be going through it. If You are read both Psalms 23 and 84: there is much encouragement to take from them.
