I am reading Conrad Aiken's Collection of Short Stories. I have read everything he has ever written. "The Silent, Secret Snow" is my favorite. It is about a child's descent into madness. There is a short film from 1964 you see here on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mx4147xf5V4.
The second book I am reading is on my kindle: The Complete Harvard Classics - ALL 71 Volumes: The Five Foot Shelf & The Shelf of Fiction: The Famous Anthology of the Greatest Works of World Literature. I thought it was a great deal at 1.99 for what equates to a Harvard education.
The third book is The Whole Five Feet: What the Great Books Taught Me About Life, Death, and Pretty Much Everything Else. I thought it would be interesting to read this author as I am 3/4 through the Harvard shelf.
My Playlist today for my workout. My husband calls this my wife's unhappy playlist. It is true, however, I cry through my run and I am as right as rain.
