Manor & Castle Development Trust are working in partnership with Great Places Housing Association in the Wybourn and Richmond Park areas.
We are looking forward to the opening of the new purpose-built community centre at Wybourn on Manor Oaks Road and toutilising the Richmond Park & Birklands Tenants Community Centre on Richmond Park Drive for adult learning.
We are planning to hold some free 6-week community courses at these centres. We would like to hear from tenants and residents in these areas what courses you would like to see.
The courses will be fun and FREE.
There will be:
- Non-accredited courses (with no pressure about passing or failing)
- Taster courses (a first step to see if you would like to go further)
We can direct you to:
- Accredited courses too (to gain a qualification)
- Other non-accredited courses that are already in place that may interest you.
Courses will be available for all Great Places tenants and residents living in the area, age no barrier and completely FREE!
Karine Ball, our Community Development Officer for Adult Learning and Digital Inclusion is working in partnership with Great Places. She will be speaking to residents in Wybourn and Richmond Par. Asking what their interests are and what courses they would like to see. Courses can be for building up your skills, for hobbies, for health and wellbeing or just to get out and meet people, learn new things.
Let Karine know what interests you.
If you live in Wybourn and Richmond Park, complete our online questionnaire – Click here or Scan the QR Code with your phone to get the link and you will be entered into a draw for a £25 gift voucher for taking part.
