If this is your day for rest, you still need encouragement. perhaps you are in a place where rest is hard to come by, or live in an environment where it is hard to live your faith, be encouraged. Encouragement is a joyous and exciting thing to give, and to stand with somebody in prayer, is also a great way to encourage yourself and the people you are praying for. Be an encourager, We have used this verse before many times and we hope it encourages you over and over again like it encourages us.
HEBREWS 4 verse 16
"Therefore let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us at he proper time."
Last week we spoke on ASSURANCE, unless you have that assurance of who you are in Christ Jesus, you will lack the boldness to approach the throne of Grace.
Jesus is our Great High Priest, has gone before us, and is sympathetic with our weaknesses. he opens the door to the throne room for us. Therefor let us approach, through prayer {communication} with Our Lord and Our Friend.
We are told to draw near to God, it is His request, who else has a God as near to them as Our Lord and Our Friend is to us.
The King of Kings and Lord of Lords sits on the throne of Grace. He desires fellowship with us, He wants to bless us from endless resources of His Grace.
Grace is unmerited favor, there is nothing we can do to obtain this favor, it comes through accepting, what Our Lord and Our Friend did for us on the Cross.
Mercy is God's attitude of forgiveness not giving us what we deserve but what we do not deserve.
Our Lord and Our friend is waiting for us when we need Him. he has made the way. he has left the door open. therefor let us approach the throne of Grace in our time of need and also in our adoration for Him.
ASSURANCE will give us the boldness, He is waiting for you to approach.
