One of the most popular writings OFJ has written, was called, 'Throne Room of God', so as a weekend special, here is that article again.
When we worship, we are approaching a glorious Throne, in the Throne Room of God. Revelation verses 1 to 37.
It is in essences the heart of heaven the place where God The Father sits, with His Son Christ Jesus. The throne is the ultimate power source for existence in the universe.
It is described in the Bible many times. Isaiah 6 and Ezekiel 1. To worship means we approach the throne of Grace in all it Glory and wonder.
Hebrews 4 verse 16: "Therefore let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and grace to help us at the proper time." The scripture says we are to approach The Throne of Grace boldly, why because we are covered by what Jesus has done for us on the cross, He paid the price for us to come.
When we worship, we are joining an eternal chorus, because worship is constantly occurring around the Throne of God. The twenty four elders may be symbols of the universal church, the four creatures may represent the angelic world.
When we get to the other side, of eternity, we should not think, that is all we will doing, we will be involved in many things in eternity, and when we want we will be able to come into this Glorious Presence and join in this wonderful and beautiful worship that surrounds the Throne.
I was reading in a book, I love to read things that inspire, apart from the Living word of God {The Bible}, and a Quote that stuck with me is "Worship is the gyroscope of the soul." The basic stabilizer of the soul.
We should be a people of worship, it should be apart of our lives as prayer is. Prayer is communication with God, and worship is communication with God on a more intense level, where all we are comes to the Throne Room.
We can worship God with words, or in dance, or even in silent. worship displays our reverence for the Majesty and Mercy of Our Creator God. Let our lives truly reflect, our beliefs, because we have such a great means of being encouraged, and one of the greatest ways to keep ourselves encouraged is to worship.
Make it one of more pleasing habits to come before the Throne , to worship Our Lord and Our Friend, this will allow us to take our minds off ourselves and our problems, Come boldly before into the Throne Room not only to worship, but to find help in our time of needs.
Just come to spend time praising the King of Kings {Our Lord and Our Friend}, the peace and joy we will all find, out weighs anything the world may have to entertain us.
