Time to look at how things went last week.. and to plan this week!
Last Week's This and That
Jetlag is just about over, but I am still trying to get back into a routine.
It seems to take me forever to get into a routine, and then so quick to get out of it again! But I am being patient with myself and know that I will get back to "normal" soon...
As I look back at the week, I can't really say I have visibly gotten much done!
We finally managed to get the garden beds put together... DS did that for me...
Now I need DH to help me get some dirt to fill them up with... so hopefully that will happen this week. Once again I am trying to be very patient... even though I'd love to have everything planted already!
A few months ago I bought this handy dandy gadget:
No, it's not a game... it's a guide to planting out a square foot garden! I was going to make a template myself, but found this on ebay quite cheap with free shipping... so I thought, why not. It will be worth it.
I laid it in the garden bed to get a bit of an idea of how many "square feet" I can get in one bed - if I do this method, I will be growing a lot!! I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes...

Monday Menu Plan:
I've decided not to keep posting menu plans because in reality, they are mostly the same each week! We seem to have about 10 meals, or less even, that we cycle through.
Also, with summer coming, we will be doing more bbqs and salads.. so for now, this part of my Monday This and That is going to be left out....
Another Bit of This and That
When I was away, I downloaded a jigsaw puzzle app on my ipad, and I have been really enjoying it!
When I got back home, I decided to buy the app - this got rid of the ads, and it allowed me to add my own photos and turn them into jigsaw puzzles....
This was the first photo I turned into a puzzle:
And you might recognize what this one's from if you read my posts last week:
It's a bit of fun to sit down with a cuppa and work on my puzzles
In case you like puzzles too and have an ipad, I am using the app "Jigsaw Puzzles for Adults HD":
I just did a search and tried two out.. I like this one best and used it for free for over a month. The only reason I ended up buying it was so that I could use my own photos...
That's my this and that for this week! I hope you all have a wonderful week! Share your plans with us and link below
Have you got a bit of This and That to share? Then join in!
You don't need to have your post formatted the same way as I do, but you can if you want… Just link your blog post containing a recap of last week, or the weekend, or your plans for this week…. or any bit of this and that you want to share with us!
