Well hello and welcome back. . .
I feel like I should be saying this to myself. I have had a leave of absence from writing my blog recently.
Well where did you go?
I have gone nowhere in particular but mentally and physically I have been around and back again. A brief synopsis over the last 3 months would be, starting a new job, house renovations, seeing friends and family, money worries and exercise. The list goes on. Effectively I have just been living my life and not writing about it.
I feel like there is so much that has happened and changed in these 3 months that has made me develop and alter the way I see things. I still crave for my time in nature, my little Moment Of Outdoors and I'm able to get snippets of it but nothing of major focus. The change out of British Summer Time has had an effect on me mentally, as i'm sure it does for many people. I have found that I have to really focus hard on getting out and making the time to enjoy things.
I've found my feet in work and am very impressed at how well things are going and the sorts of experiences and opportunities I've had in such a short space of time. As part of my job I've been able to travel to a few new cities and coming from the South West, it takes forever to get there. I've also been getting used to this home working malarkey. I've found it so strange talking to people through a screen. I've always been able to speak to people face to face.
I know I've been slack on writing my blog but I'm trying to update it as frequently as possible. I'm starting to post more things on Instagram and other bits of social media as this is sometimes quicker and easier for me to explain what I've been doing.
I've not given up on this blog, I'm just struggling to make time for it. I'm also struggling to make time for other hobbies. As an example, it's also been months since i've been sewing. I have started to Zwift more now with the weather change and am getting ideas about doing another Festive 500. I don't want to get too carried away with my ideas just yet. I'm still yet to do my Coast to Coast challenge I've been on about for a year now.
If you do want to see what else I have been getting up to then follow me on social media.
