Chaplains Chat
The story goes like this:
The minister asked his congregation if anyone needed prayer for anything, so a man went forward and asked the minister to pray for his hearing. The minister placed his hands over the man's ears and prayed very fervently for the man's healing. The minister's hands shook as he moved the man's head from side to side. The man refused to fall down from the intense praying, so after a few minutes the minister stopped praying and asked the man how his hearing is now. The man replied that he won't know til he goes to court next week.
God understands our deepest groans and sighs. He knows what it is that is causing us to feel a certain way. We are never misunderstood by God, because He knows our heart.
You know the saying 'you can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all the people all of the time.' How true that is. But you can't fool God at all. I pray that you will find comfort and reassurance in the fact that God cares and understands.
Psalm 139:4 says; "Before I even speak a word, you know what I SAY." God is omniscient; He is aware of the past, present and future.
Dear Lord, thank you that you know us so well. and that you love us unconditionally. I pray that you will reveal more of yourself to us, in Jesus Name i pray. Amen.
God bless you as you journey through this week.
