Acts 26 Verse 29: ' I wish before God', replies Paul, 'that whether easily or with difficulty, not only you but all who listen to me today might become as I am--except for these chains."
Paul was giving his testimony before King Agrippa. If we have opportunity to speak in public about Our Lord and Our Friend, what would our approach Be? Would we adjust to our audience, because we are afraid of what they think, or would we tell it as it is regardless of the consequences.
The Christian message is about repentance. Understanding that we don't measure up to the Loving God Who created us. Repentance involves being sorry, for how we have fallen short. It involves a Change of mind, a new set of values, and being willing to change into the person we were created to be.
The Christian message is about a change of lifestyles, we stop living for self {self interests} and start living for His interest and the purpose for which we were created, a relationship with The Loving God.
The Christian message is about transformation, but first there needs to be a in us, which results in a change of attitude to others.
We must have all heard about the transformation in Paul life. God is no respecter of persons all lives can have transformation, into newness of life.
There is a saying, 'If you were on trial for being a Christian would there be enough evidence to convict you'.
In Acts 26 Verse 28: King Agrippa was almost persuaded to become a follower of Our Lord and Our Friend, but peer pressure mostly stopped him.
No matter what the out come to our testimony, people should see something they want, that we have by the Grace, Mercy and Forgiveness we have received, to give us newness of life.
God Bless.
