This time next week I promised myself I will look back at my pictures from an idyllic spring break in an idyllic corner of the world and remember what it feels like to breathe when I snorkel- slow, purposeful and calm- a breath in and a breath out, on repeat.
When my world starts spinning and when I feel like there are not enough hours in the day, I will hold onto the feeling of the wind in my face
When I feel the anxiousness rise because I am multi tasking more than is necessary, I will remember that the sun rises every day and tomorrow will be a new day and a chance to start again
When I am tired and needing to rest, I will remember the good fortune of being able to pause and take deep breaths
And as the sun sets on this challenge, I will remember this amazing community of writers I have been surrounded by who have supported and championed me this year. I am so grateful and even though I didn't write everyday, I am glad I made it to day 31 and look forward to doing it again!
