Opportunity Sheffield's Sector Routeways Programme is seeking participants for the following sector-based academies in 2023. These courses are open to unemployed and economically inactive residents who are interested in finding work in the relevant industries. All courses feature an initial training element followed by a work placement with a local employer. - Construction (2-weeks training followed by 2-weeks work experience) 20.3.23, 6.3.23, 20.3.23, 3.4.23, 7.4.23, 2.5.23, 15.5.23, 30.5.23, 12.6.23, 26.6.23, 10.7.23, 24.7.23, 7.8.23, 21.8.23
- Digital (12-weeks training and portfolio development, Mon to Fri full days remotely from home) 8.5.23, 4.9.23
- Care (3-days training) 17,18,19 April, 5,6,7 June, 17,18,19 July, 11,12,13 September, 16,17,18 October
- Engineering & Manufacturing (2-weeks training followed by 2 weeks work experience) 17.4.23, 5.6.23, 18.9.23
- Digital Marketing & Business Admin (2 weeks training followed by 2 weeks work experience) 3.4.23, 1.5.23, 5.6.23, 3.7.23, 7.8.23, 4.9.23
- Hospitality & Retail (2-weeks training followed by 2-weeks work experience) start dates tbc
