Mommy and I have a big family, but they come to visit only for a little while. Most of our days it is just mommy and me. So we're a family. I get bored because I need to play and there are no other kitties here to play with me. So mommy plays with me. I like to play catch the ball and bat the ball with mommy. If I don't catch it, I make her fetch it and throw it again. My favorite ball is the green one. I guess my favorite color is green!
There is a wiggly green thing on a pole I like a lot. When mommy gets it out, I will play for a long time with her. We have fun. I like to catch it. Mommy will make it run through the house so I can chase it and catch it. Sometimes I catch it in the air and pull it down.
Ignore mommy's knees and feet. She has trouble taking pictures and holding the pole at the same time. I think she needs to take lessons or something.
Yesterday she told me I might be getting a new sister. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I don't think she knows either, but she does have a soft heart for unwanted kitties. A woman is looking for someone to take her cat because she likes to travel now and doesn't want to worry about her. I don't think my mommy would ever do that to me! She even worries when she's gone all day and I don't get my lunch. I don't let her know it doesn't matter because if I did, she'd cut back on my food again. Sigh. Cats have so much to worry about.
I'm enjoying these days where mommy keeps the doors open so I can look outside and watch all the birds! There are a lot of them. They come to our porch to visit. I don't do anything but watch them. I don't want them to not come back. I laugh, but not out loud, because mommy is always trying to get a picture of some pretty ones that come to visit. By the time she gets her camera ready they fly away! All the time. But she keeps trying. I love that about her. She kept trying with me when I was not trusting enough to have her pet my back and tail. Now I know she won't hurt me, so I let her do that and I purr to tell her I do like it.
I think that's all I have to tell you about today. I'll be back next Wednesday to share more of my life. It's a good one! Love you all! Bye!
