Colossians 3 Verse 10; "And have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge according to the image of his Creator'.
When we come to accept Christ Jesus as Our Lord, Our Savior and Our Friend, the focus in our lives should change. We have been given New Life in Christ Jesus, He becomes our source of everything.
Putting off the old ways, and putting on the newness, of the new ways Our Lord and Our Friend has for us.
Pursuing the Goal that lays before, is pursing all that God has for us, and using all the helps He gives us in that pursuit. It not a one person battle to do the best, for what is in it for us, it a journey of faith, that speak our faith to those who watch.
Pursuing our goal, forgetting what is behind and reaching forward to what is ahead, and doing our best along the way. Pursuing by excellence, because of the Loving God we serve.
Moses set an excellent example for his workforce by doing his own work, 'according to all The Lord had command him'. Exodus 40 verse 16:
Excellence in Israel began with Moses. It spread to the group of managers helping to supervise and coordinate the projects. Those who were working with him followed suit.
Our Pursuit of our goal the prize promised by God's heavenly call in Christ Jesus. Our Pursuit can be hampered, if we don't raise our level, from what we did before, we repented and accepted Him, to the way we do things after we accept Him.
We have a New life, we should have a New Level of doing, in our lives, were we peruse 'excellence' in everything we do. We represent a different Kingdom now, which always deserve our best.
It might be tough sometimes to pursue, excellence, when things are not going our way, but He is always there to help, and His example is always shining before us.
