Biblically it's described as "The place of beginnings"
Psalms are all about Praise & Worship
PSALM 95:6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before our maker. Everything begins with worship, great freedom is obtained through worship. God wants us to worship Him.
Worship is our expression of love for our creator God (My Lord, and Friend). So always begin with worship, its in the place of thanksgiving that God convenes with us.
Worship in the original Greek is "Proskuneo" which means to 'kiss toward' implying to make a deep emotional response toward God.
2 CHRONICLES 5:13-14 "It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice with trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord saying 'for He is good, for His mercy endures forever' that there the house was filled with a cloud for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God".
EPHESIANS 5:20 "Giving thanks always for all things to God and the Father in the Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ".
